Sense the start of the new year I have been fighting this fog from all the terrible eating I did over the holiday season. WOOH was that a rough time. Being that we were going to be spending time with our families, who are not paleo, we would go non paleo. We thought it would just cause an inconvenience on our families that we didn’t want to burden them with when we just wanting to enjoy the time we had with them. Turns out, it was a huge burden to our bodies. Well… my body.
From the start of thanksgiving to the end of christmas I gained 10 pound. TEN FREAKING POUNDS!
And my boyfriend… he lost weight.
YEAH… You read that right… LOST WEIGHT!
It was just two pounds, but still, I just can’t even….
How? What? Why?
Girl, I don’t know.
All I know is that sticking to, and being strict in my paleo eating ways works for my body. Eating those desserts and pastas and breads just were not worth the damage.
So now I’m feeling super motivated to not just eat paleo but to eat lighter and fresher foods. They reflect on my body and mind much better!
Here’s a light salad dressing that I whipped up the other day.
